Drafting and Group Riding
All Pumped up for the 2nd Leg of the Bangalore Bicycle Championships ? (look how exciting the first race was)
A grand Road Race is planned sometime end of this month. We will post up updates on the blog as the route is finalized and as further details crystallize.
Towards that – a mini workshop on drafting and group riding is being organized this Sunday, especially for all those that have never done it before.
Vivek is the Ride master for this workshop and its going to be held under the Aegis of KYNKYNY Racing.
A similar bike workshop held a few months back was loads of fun and pretty informative too.
The Plan
- Start at Hebbal opposite Columbia Asia.
- Head towards Nandi Hills
- Report at 6:15am sharp
After a basic explanation, we will head out in groups of 5 or 6 practicing rotations etc. Half an hour of this should be enough to pick up good tips and continue practicing on your own.
Road bikes or MTBs, doesn’t matter. If you have slicks, put em on, if you don’t, please consider buying some as you can use them on all such road rides and events. Cycle computers is a big plus, please bring yours.
