Overall the event was loads of fun. Folks apparently liked it and I met quite a few people who were actually enthused enough to give bicycle commute a shot. Fantastic !

The presentation was thought up by a bunch of Bikers – Pradeep, Ravi, Nikhil (and a bunch of others bikers who gave me some valuable feedback when I tried a dry run)
Thanks to all the bikers who came there to cheer us on.

Try lubricating the pedals (very very lightly) as shown in the picture. A drop will do to loosen up the bearings.

Tour oF Nilgiris (TFN)

Bicycling thru the Nilgiris

The Tour oF Nilgiris is just around the corner. Organized by a bunch of bikers collaborating across the globe, I am sure its going to be a cracker of an event.

A 7 day 1000 km event, TFN is a bicycle tour of the beautiful Nilgiri mountain range, panning a number of south Indian states and a number of National Parks.

Dates – 25 December, 2008 to 1 January, 2009

We are back !

BumsOnTheSaddle was operating in a low key mode the last month or so as both Nikhil and I were out of town. Thanks to all those who are patiently waiting for us to get back to zero in on a bicycle of their dreams.

We are up and riding once again and if you had contacted us earlier about a bicycle you should receive and email from us about when we can meet up at the earliest.

about the session – This will be interactive session trying to find out the pros and cons of cycling to work
