Individual Time Trial - Bangalore Bicycle Championships 2011
After all the long distance rides at the Bangalore Brevets its time to allow our fast twitch muscles to twitch a bit.
Announcing the first race of 2011 – an Individual Time Trial at the popular TT course off Sarjapura road. This is where the awesome Bangalore Bicycle Championships all started.
7km only and mostly descents! Time to break the speed barrier (safely of course)

Where: Chandapura Cross, Sarjapura road Map to location, ignore the date
When: Sunday, 20th Feb 2011
What: Individual Time Trial
Who: Anybody and everybody (get friends and family to cheer you along)
How long: A 7km adrenaline ride of your life (it’s all downhill, beat that)
Any self-propelled contraption can be used – Road bikes, MTBs, Single Speed, fixies, doodhwaala, paperwala, yel-neer wala.. any kinda cycle will do

People are requested to be at the start point by 0645 hrs IST. The first rider starts at 0700hrs IST.
Punctuality will be greatly appreciated and expected.

Helmet and Gloves are mandatory. No excuses.

- We fund the races primarily thru the Vitamin M concept. We recommend Rs 100 per person.

Driving Directions to start point
- Get onto sarjapura road
- Pass Decathlon on your right
- Keep going straight, you will pass Kodathi gate cross (yellow arch on the left)
- Watch out for an orange colored shop on the left (Iyengar bakery)
- Turn right on the road opp the shop
And hopefully you will see a bunch of bikes with their bikers too.
