I would like to participate...most days ARE PAW days for me anyway! But..I am not employed anywhere, so let me know how I can take part.

Hi Deepa, Appreciate your email. Everyone is welcome. Many guys are PAWing even to the assembly point. Please email your contact details to admin@bumsonthesaddle.com for further discussions. Cheers Nivedita

This looks like Symbian from SJRi Park, Whitefield. Does anyone commute by cycle in Symbian?? I'm one of the few who bike to office in this tech park :) Rohan, our company too is in the same building and we also have a green group with 20+ members here called the eco-maniacs :) I'll convince my HR to get in touch with admin@bumsonthesaddle.com. I'm sure this will help in spreading the message to IT guys who either prefer cars or mobikes..

@Madhu, You are right. Symbian is in SJR iPark. You can stop by Symbian's reception and call me at Xn:7621. Which company are you working with?
  • Madhu on 25 Jul 10:42

@Nivedita I'm with SoftJin, we'll meet tom and discuss on this .. btw i see a TREK 4300 in the basement .. frm the photos i think some symbian employee owns it .. thr are 3 other people in our office who have repaired their old cycles and have planned to commute ..

Madhu - that would be fantastic ! Lets see how we can make things better for bikers there ! And that bike belongs to Nivedita I guess. Is it a 16" frame ?
  • Nivedita on 29 Jul 14:55

@Madhu, Good to hear from you. I do get my Trek4300 to office at times. I bought it recently from Bumsonthesaddle. Many other Symbianites, who owe bicycles, were not around when the photo was clicked. Few guys from Symbian bought bicycles after first PAW and they too plan to join us... Hope it doesn't rain on the day

I will be there ... What is the POA after meeting a the petrol station ?
  • Madhu on 30 Jul 18:23

Nivedita, Sorry, was not able to meet you after that .. lets meet tom .. let me know the time (preferably lunch break ) madhu@softjin.com

Pedal and walk :) We plan to walk/pedal to the office. Many of us have offices in SJR iPark, Opp. Satya Sai Hospital. Action actually begins even before that as cyclists will have to pedal even till petrol pump. Many of us come from different route and on different timings. These guys are planning to PAW on the time and route convenient to them.

Hi All, Once again multiple groups reached Symbian office PAWing. A group of cyclists started from AECS Layout. Walkers started from SAP Petrol Pump. Photos of walkers' group is available at http://picasaweb.google.com/niveditasachdev/01Aug2008PAW2 The most interesting part of walking was to see SRS buses and cabs stopping by to offer lift and also the amusing SMS telling walker to walk fast :)) Few seem to have enjoyed cycling while accompanying walkers. Cheers Nivedita
