Dear friends, Wish you a happy environments day. Today, I feel proud for my 1 months hard work towards the welfare of our environment as well as our nation. Since from last 1 month I have been cycling the house to office distance to and fro. I have no more desire to own a motorcycle. Infact I have following gains from this routine. 1. Cycling has saved my time (1 hr/day). As the BMTC route is lenthy and time consuming. It takes me only half an hour to cover 7 Km compare to 1 hr lengthy and tiring bus journey. 2.It has made me more agile. There is no need to spend on jogging and excercise etc. 3.Very much economical. I had to spend nearly 550 Rs for my monthly bus pass. But with nominal repairy charges of 100 to 150, I can save nearly 300 Rs/month. My eco-friendly vehicle has changed my life style in Bangalore. On this special day lets strengthen our determination and pledge not to get our bums off the saddle. Proud cyclist, Anand.
