Way to go! Nice to see cyclists getting acknowledged! Now do we get a cycling track with all this publicity? :-) Now, if only Mr. Mallaya had diverted the IPL amount to making a cycling track around the city.

Nice. Keep going.

To be fair ... We cannot expect cycling tracks. We need pavements to be made proper to start with and bad motorcyclists from using pavement. Cyclist and Pedastrians can co-exist on the pavement without much issue .. except where there is a bus stop where cyclist may find it difficult to pass. Singapore was doing this until recently and just finished connecting all the parks in singapore via Dedicated Cycling Tracks. There was some argument if cyclists should be allowed on pavements where there are no cycle tracks.. but it died out. check http://www.nparks.gov.sg/park_connectors.asp

Hey this Maulik. I am a 21 year old male. I would like to know what kind of training or exercise will I have to undergo in order to do Mumbai-Ahemdabad on a bicycle. I own a Ciclosport (Suncross) bike which has 21 gears, a swing-arm suspension and has alpha-aluminium frame. Will this bike be suitable for this kind of ride? What all accessories will I need to buy?
