The nearest thing I have read about a 'cycle' - and loved it - is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." That is not quite you had in mind, right? I will try and read "Its not about the bike". Soon.

Sorry, for the piecemeal response. But this is worth its length (weight?) in gold. The following is the last line of the first paragraph of "The Rider" (see link above in my previous response): "Non-racers. The emptiness of their lives shocks me." Wow! I am already sold.
